1. Purpose and scope
Koverit is an invoicing and payment tracking software (SaaS) published by Arafat YAYA, based in Douala, Cameroon. These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Koverit platform available at koveritapp.com.
By signing up and using Koverit, you accept these Terms of Service without reservation. If you do not accept these terms, please do not use the service.
2. Access to the service
Access to Koverit requires creating a user account. When signing up, you guarantee the accuracy and completeness of the information provided (name, email, company details).
You are solely responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials and for any activity carried out from your account.
3. Description of the service
Koverit notably enables:
- Creating and sending invoices
- Reminder preparation: email, WhatsApp in one tap from your own number
- Tracking of payments and receivables
- Displaying your own collection methods on your invoices' payment page, and payment declarations by your customers
- Access to a centralized receivables dashboard
The publisher reserves the right to evolve the service's features at any time, with or without notice.
Koverit is software. Koverit is not a payment service provider and does not receive or hold the funds of its users' customers. Payments are made directly to the user. Koverit processes the data of its users' customers on behalf of those users.
4. Pricing and billing
Koverit offers four monthly subscription plans:
- Free: 0 XAF/month
- Starter: 2,000 XAF/month
- Pro: 5,000 XAF/month
- Business: 10,000 XAF/month
Your customers pay you directly and Koverit never touches the money: no commission is taken on those payments, only the monthly subscription is billed. The subscription is paid by Mobile Money (MTN MoMo, Orange Money), subject to those operators' own fees. Subscriptions have no commitment and can be cancelled at any time. An annual option is also available: 12 months for the price of 10 (Starter 20,000, Pro 50,000, Business 100,000 XAF), paid in one go; it is non-refundable, except if Koverit terminates it or the service is durably interrupted through Koverit's fault (pro-rata refund of the remaining months), or where mandatory law provides otherwise.
5. User obligations
By using Koverit, you agree to:
- Use the service in accordance with Cameroonian law and OHADA law
- Not use Koverit for fraudulent or illegal purposes
- Keep your credentials confidential and report any unauthorized use
- Provide accurate information about your clients and invoices
- Not attempt to circumvent the service's security measures
- Enter accurate collection methods that belong to you: you alone are responsible for the accuracy of the details shown to your customers on payment pages
- Only issue invoices for genuine receivables, and never use Koverit for false, harassing or intimidating reminders
6. Personal data
The processing of your personal data complies with law n°2010/012 of December 21, 2010 on cybersecurity and cybercrime in Cameroon. For more information on the collection, use and protection of your data, please see our Privacy Policy.
7. Liability
Koverit is provided "as is". The publisher strives to keep the service available at all times, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The publisher cannot be held liable for losses resulting from misuse of the service, technical interruptions beyond its control, or inaccurate information entered by the user.
Your customers pay you directly: Koverit is not a party to the transaction or to any dispute between you and your customer, and is not responsible for the collection details you enter.
To report a suspicious payment page or fraudulent payment details, use the “Report a problem” link on every payment page or write to support@koveritapp.com. The publisher may suspend any account or page concerned without delay.
8. Termination and refunds
You may cancel your account at any time from the Settings page of your workspace. Cancellation takes effect immediately and results in the permanent deletion of your data.
The publisher reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account in the event of a breach of these Terms of Service, without notice or refund.
Amounts already paid for the current subscription period are non-refundable, except where mandatory law provides otherwise. As Koverit is a professional-use service offered with a permanent free tier (no payment required to try it) and can be cancelled at any time with no commitment, no right of withdrawal applies to paid subscriptions taken out in the course of the user's professional activity.
Annual subscription: non-refundable, except if Koverit terminates it or the service is durably interrupted through Koverit's fault: pro-rata refund of the remaining months. If you move to a higher plan during the year, you pay the complement for the remaining months (calculated by our team); the expiry date is unchanged. A move to a lower plan only takes effect at expiry.
The contract may be transferred to the company that takes over the operation of Koverit, without any change to its terms.
